About Us
Corner Cottage Preschool and Home Daycare is a family-run early learning program nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood in Elk River. We provide a safe, nurturing space where children develop at their own pace — through guided play, creative exploration, and everyday moments that matter.
Our small-group approach means each child is known, supported, and encouraged exactly where they are. We work closely with families to build consistency between home and care, because the best early learning happens when adults are on the same page.
Programs
6 weeks – 12 months
Gentle, responsive care built around each baby's rhythm — feeding, napping, tummy time, and the quiet moments that build trust and attachment.
1 – 3 years
Active exploration, language development, and early social skills through guided play, sensory activities, and outdoor time in a safe setting.
3 – 5 years
Foundational learning through storytelling, art, math games, and cooperative play — building the confidence and habits children carry into kindergarten.
Our Environment
Every corner of Corner Cottage is thoughtfully arranged to invite exploration. Low shelves with accessible materials, soft reading nooks, open floor space for building and movement — the environment itself becomes a quiet teacher.
Outdoor time is part of every day, rain or shine. Whether it's a walk around the block, sandbox play, or nature sorting in the yard, children get the fresh air and physical activity they need.

Families
